Join us to learn more about Dung Beetles and the services they provide, with Dr Shaun Forgie of Dung Beetle Innovations. The event will take place in Forta Leza Contry Inn on the 21st of November, 5.30pm. A Gold coin donation would be appreciated.

The Magic of Manuka
On 19 Nov we welcome Assoc Prof Mike Clearwater from the University of Waikato who will tell us about Manuka: The plant behind the honey.
From reviled weed to treasured medicinal plant, our view of mānuka has always depended on its role in our lives. For many that view has been transformed by the discovery of the properties of its unusual honey. As the mānuka honey industry continues to expand rapidly, millions of seedlings are being planted, and landowners, bee keepers and exporters are competing fiercely for access to a limited resource.
When: Monday 19th November 2018 Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start
Where: Tauranga Yacht & Power Boat Club Inc, 90 Keith Allen Drive, Tauranga
Cost: Door fee of $5 to cover venue and nibbles.
