organised and tailored sessions!
Throughout the year we welcome individuals, community groups and clubs who want a different experience for their members and to do some good for their local natural environment. Perhaps you run a language class or new migrants group, and want to introduce people to the great Kiwi bush and its fantastic native trees and plants.
Our restoration staff will take you to a nearby reserve to plant trees, clear away weeds and help protect stream-sides.
Back at the nursery your group can learn how to pot up seedlings, and help us to care for native plants. Half or full days are available – on Tuesday afternoons and Fridays – and our staff will make sure that the activities are suitable for the age and ability of the group. We can handle groups of 20-25 people, larger groups on request.
